Clyde

My rescue cat

We turned up at the vets to collect Ruby and were taken into a room to speak to the vet regarding 'Clive'.

The vet showed us his x-rays and explained how he'd been run over and his leg had been badly injured. He'd had multiple operations and was going to need a lot of rest to recover. Clive had been microchipped but when the 'owners' were called, they claimed not to know him and he was left abandoned in a seriously critical state. The RSPCA paid for his care. When we left, the vet and nurses all waved Clive off with a tear - as he'd been with them for such a long time - they'd all grown close to him.

Now, we could only see a scared little face staring out at us on the journey home- so it wasn't til we got home and opened the box - we realised what a 'BIG BOY' he was!! His leg looked like a burnt crisp for a long time and he recovered in our basement.... Just on a temporary basis.... Right..... Well, we grew to love the big white fella!!!

Clive became Clyde.... My big boy Clydey....!!!

He's an absolute darling... He's 'the daddy' of the house!
