Roxy
My rescue cat
Time to introduce you to our little shy tortie Roxy.
Roxy was found on the streets of North London and taken into rescue. She joined many more on a 'put to sleep' list - a city full of unwanted cats and kittens. Too many cats - Not enough homes
Luckily for Roxy, a local Thanet lady (who does amazing work in dog rescue) picked her up and brought her back to Thanet for a second chance. Roxy came into Cats in Crisis and into our conservatory- where she spent a good week hiding behind our tumble dryer. She was so unbelievably scared!
Even to this day, Roxy senses the opening of a flea treatment from the other side of the house. Vet visits are certainly fun - You only have to make eye contact with her and you won't see her for a day!
She is such a sweetheart though - So painfully shy and then out of nowhere, she becomes super intense wanting fusses. It's like she's always fighting herself - wanting to be confident but is just too much of a scaredy cat to allow herself!
She's super special and loves her tortie ladies! They are a little group who like to stick together!
